Tips-
Learn what to avoid in work at home job ads:
- Ad states that they are only looking for "serious" individuals (who isn't
serious about a job if they apply? "Serious" usually means that they want
someone who is willing to pay a fee for training materials
- Ads not giving much job description and only states that you need a computer
to work from home-employers usually give a detailed description of what they
want in an employee in the job ad.
- If you ask the company questions and they don't want to answer and/or get
upset-be wary! Legitimate companies are usually more than happy to
answer your questions and concerns.
- A company's website that does not provide a physical address and phone on
their website-while this may not mean it is a scam, research to find out if this
a "real" company

Not all work at home jobs are scams. There are legitimate companies that will hire you to work from home but you need to use some caution. Do not just take a person's word that a job is legitimate, do some research!
There is also a difference between a work at home job and a work at home business. Most work at home jobs will not ask you for a fee but a fee is usually expected in a work at home at business. Many times a business may advertise by saying "Work at Home Opportunity" and jobs don't tend to use this phrase often. If you see the word "opportunity" be aware that this may be a business instead of a job.
If you have a questions about a company (job or business) do not be afraid to ask questions. A legitimate company or business should be willing to share information to you and answer your questions!
